Introducing Vintage BASIC Software

I love old BASIC programs, especially the games. Not only were these the first of their kind, paving the way for the games we play today, but they are part of my early history as a computer scientist.
In 9th grade I played my first computer games – Star Trek, Lunar Lander and L.E.M, and a space war game on a teletype terminal of a DEC PDP-8E microcomputer. I also learned to program and even made changes to these games that became part of the lore of what we call today “Vintage BASIC.”
In 1973 when I first sat down in front of a computer, these games ran in only in 4K of memory, and were the largest programs I had ever seen. Yes, they were larger than life to a then 9th grader who until then never saw or heard about computers. These were complex and expertly crafted so that all of the game’s functions fit easily in memory. Such beautiful code (and even algorithms) is lost in the games of today that run in 4, 8 or more gigabytes.

Opinion: Mainstream Media – The New “Deplorables”

George McGinnAfter the shameful actions of the networks and mainstream print-media during the past three months, I have found a word that absolutely sums up what the reporters and videographers from these outlets are – deplorables.

And those who earned it have no one better to give thanks to but their major benefactor, Hillary Rodman Clinton.

And while I know that deplorable isn’t a noun or verb, today it is.

What has been called “mainstream media” lost all credibility with the public. By openly (and in secret as exposed by Wikileaks) becoming the Clinton News Network (CNN, ABC, CBS, NBS, MSNBC, FOX-NEWS, HLN, and others) their unjust and biased reporting of the presidential election did a great disservice to the public they are supposed to present balanced reporting, and earned them that new title of disrespect.

Can The Electoral College Steal An Election?

Can The Electoral College Steal An Election?

Electoral_College_Map.png

Overview of the Electoral College, White states are “Faithless” and Red states are “Pledged”. See map below for detailed breakdown.

Between November 8 and December 19, no mater who wins on Election Day, the losing side can still wind up being president, and it all rests in the hands of the Electors. And at least three of the Electors, all GOP, say they are not casting their vote for Trump.

This is the last way to steal an election, and it is constitutional, as it is the Elector and not the public who elects a president. We only get to say who we want, and its not binding.

Not many Americans really understands how the Electoral College works. What the are not being told by the media or either party is that regardless of the fact whether or not the election is rigged, and either Hillary Clinton or Donald J.Trump wins, there is still a way provided by the US Constitution that an election can be “legally stolen.”

And if it were to happen, the act itself will not create a constitutional crisis, because, it has been this way since the 1787 Constitutional Convention and upheld by a 1952 Supreme Court decision that it is “constitutional.” The aftermath and fallout if the election is stolen when the Electoral College votes will be short of devastating to our way of life.

Is Steve Pieczenik Under Fire By Clinton?

On Nov. 1, Steve Pieczenik, an insider with the intelligence community, recorded, with their blessing, the following video:

https://youtu.be/ov5kvWSz5LM

After making the above video public on YouTube, his website, http://stevepieczenik.com, mysteriously goes down? Not so.

Someone hacked into his site or its ISP and brought it down. And if their goal was to silence the message, or to intimidate Pieczenik, the first step in the Democratic playbook, not only failed, but I think they do not realize who they are dealing with.

Daily Defense News Blog Up and Running

George McGinnI do have to jazz it up some, get some military photos and create the right layout, but besides all that my new blog Daily Defense News is now up and running, and has its first blog story: “Defense Early Bird Briefs – April 3, 2015″.

This blog was not one I had planned on creating, but I am still getting news from my sources in the Pakistani Military and the ISI, and I get documents (nothing classified, but public records that no one is looking at) form another source in Washington D.C.

Last year I broke the news in my investigative piece about how the US Government wants Pakistan to step up its efforts in the fight against terrorism, yet our Department of Defense refused to sell the parts, many warehouses, to keep the Cobra Gunships we sold them in 2007 flying. By 2012, and into 2013, Pakistan had more helicopters grounded and one would fall out of the sky almost every other day.

COMMENTARY – Situation in Orlando becoming more dangerous as cable TV feeds the frenzy

Some of the hundreds of angry protesters wailing for Casey Anthony to leave. When Anthony exited the jail house building, people tried to block her car from leaving the parking lot, and new helicopters reported several vehicles following Anthony's car at high rate of speed. “Calm down … This is getting to the point of danger. Vigilantly justice is not OK. You don’t take the law into your own hands.” — Dr. Drew Pinsky

“Everybody needs to turn the energy that they have into something positive. If you want to do something to honor Caylee, then do something to help other children. Don’t try to turn it into rage, turn it into something positive, because that honors her. Anything other than that dishonors her.” — Jeff Ashton

ORLANDO, Fla, (July 7, 2011) — TV lawyers are not real journalists. They do not have the training a reporter has, and by the very nature of their job, they cannot be objective. And while local news stations are doing their part to bring unbiased news to the public, HLN and its non-journalist lawyers continue to broadcast stories and views that are so one-sided, they are beginning to create a very dangerous situation in Orlando.

Traditional media has begun writing stories condemning cable TV coverage and their practices, and it just might be getting to them. But is it too late to prevent something serious from happening?
